iPod undermines Microsoft on copy-locked CDs

Fancy that. Songs from copy-protected CDs don't work on iPods, so now the companies who make that copy protection are scrambling and are making "an appeal to Apple for compatibility."

Yyyeah. Apple is selling music without the plastic middleman. (They hit 100 million songs just 7 hours ago). Do you think they'll play along?
